The role of the Narsa Rally Organiser and HF Ladder Manager is as follows:

I organise the SRS stand for the annual NARSA rally which takes place at Blackpool, and attend NARSA meetings at Grappenhall (Warrington Radio Club) and also arrange planning with the Narsa team Nigel 2E0CKA / Heather M6HNS.
As HF Ladder Manager, I maintain Club log and the online SRS HF Ladder. I also advise Heather M6HNS on a quarterly basis of the current standings, and issue the committee prior to the AGM with the winners of the relevant sections. Support new members to join the HF Ladder competition.
SRS Contest Group Member and Secretary. I participate in the development, setup and operation of Amateur Radio contests in the name of the Club. This sometimes involves design and development of hardware and software as well as setting up reliable comms links to keep the team competitive. Development of robust antennas to withstand sometimes harsh environments. As secretary I the record actions at regular SRS Contest Group meetings.
DX Expedition planning and execution. I have experience in setting up Amateur Radio stations in remote areas using portable equipment. I am also involved in the development and build of portable antennas and lightweight power systems. I am a regular operate of the stations and encourage SRS members to make contact.
Present to SRS on various topics including DXpeditions, IOTA contest, Arduino programming.
Participate in the setup of the SRS Rally including manning a table on behalf of the SRS Contest Group.
